Maureen finaled in the Golden Heart in 2003 with gothic long historical Amid the Shadows. She sold her first short story a year later to BelleBooks. Since then she's sold seven more shorts stories and is still pursuing publication in novel-length fiction. CM referred me. Wow, Mo. Great advice. Can you believe I never thought of that! Whenever I see the smilie faces I grin, pat myself on the back and move right past them, looking for the "helpful feedback".
I think I better pull out those contest mailers again!
