Q&A Friday!

For some people, nothing but a PB&J would do. For others, it had to be cookies and milk. What was your favorite after school snack?

My favorite lunch was the leftover fried chicken from Sunday dinner that was always in my lunch on Mondays.

My mom went through a phase (yes, moms go through phases, too) where she prepared "tea" for us everyday after school. So, for awhile, I was spoiled with my choice of a fine china cup & saucer, pots of steaming Oolong, and brownies or cakes or cookies still warm from the oven. Yummm :-).

Potato chips and Dr. Pepper. Total crap, but I loved it.

(and strangely enough, the word verification below is cracip -- surely a bastardization of crap+chip

For odd food faves, though, I should probably tell you my favorite breakfast as a kid -- a spaghetti sandwich. Left over cold spaghetti (mom dumped the sauce on the noodles before she put it away) on white bread with butter. Yum!

I can honestly say my mom NEVER did that. How cool!

Lisa,
I have to say the spaghetti sandwich is quite inventive!

I've never even heard of them!

Diane,
They're PB&J without crusts in the freezer section of the grocery, made by Smuckers. My daughter loves them. She has one during the school week every day for lunch!
