Q&A Friday!!!!
For our second Friday of Giving Thanks month, I couldn't help but think of food. That might have something to do with the fresh cranberries, sweet potatoes, and frozen turkeys starting to fill the bins of my local grocery. Or maybe it was the tower of canned pumpkin that caught my eye as I pushed my grocery cart down the aisles this week.
Which foods can't you pass up on Turkey Day?

Mashed potatoes and gravy, and please don't mess with the potatoes by adding garlic or something else unnatural. :-)
Judy,
:) My sister feels the same way you do about mashed potatoes!
Pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream on top. This time of year is the only time I get it.
I make cranberry jello with a cream cheese layer. I just love that taste.
And turkey! I don't know why we don't fix it more often; everyone just loves the leftovers.
I'm with you, Judy. My husband's latest thing is truffle oil in the mashed potatoes. Truffle oil has it's place, but that place is NOT in my mashed potatoes!
Lee
PS: I will, however, acknowledge that popcorn with butter and a few drops of truffle oil is delish!
Cranberry sauce and turkey and my Mom's chicken and dumplings! Oh and fresh field peas from her garden. After that I need a good long nap!
