Friday Q&A!!
I hope everyone has plans to enjoy some of the fall color this weekend, and I'd like to start off this week's round of questions with this one: Do you take a few days off from writing at Thanksgiving or do you carve a little writing time out of the festivities?
Since I'm posting the question, I will also post my answer :) I will not be writing, except perhaps Thanksgiving Day (while the sweet potatoes bake). The rest of the week and weekend, I will be working behind the scenes with the rest of the Northeast Atlanta Ballet Seam Team. The pre-professional company, of which my daughter is a member, is performing The Nutcracker Thanksgiving weekend. My brain will be focused on securing hooks and eyes on tutus, raising and lowering hems on angel and soldier costumes (due to height changes between casts), and praising these wonderful kids who work so hard at something they love. The poster is a picture taken from last year when my daughter was a Clara.
